Flower of Salt

The four salts of Traspatio Maya are different and each one follows a special formation process. They are collected under sustainable processes that protect and safeguard the biocultural heritage of the region.
Unlike commercial salts, Traspatio Maya salts do not contain iodine or chlorine and are 100% natural.
Although Traspatio Maya salts are collected in the town of Celestún, they are bottled by a group of women from the community of Dzidzilché, Yucatán.
The work of harvesting and collecting salt takes place from March to June. Naturally, in January, the ponds begin to dehydrate, which encourages the formation of salts.
