Taller Maya and Pawuamba present Peninsular , a sandal collection created in collaboration with the social enterprises Tumben Meyaj, Tejedoras de Jipi, and Los Laureles. Inspired by the Yucatán Peninsula, the collection integrates artisanal techniques such as reclaimed bull horn carving, jipijapa weaving, and Mayan loom weaving, developed by communities in Yaxunah (Yucatán), Tankuché, and Los Laureles (Campeche).

This artisanal sandal brand from Querétaro fuses Mexican textiles with contemporary design, promoting sustainability and collaboration in rural communities. The three styles in this collection combine jipijapa weave and figures carved from reclaimed bull horn, making them unique in the country.
