Entrelazado revitalizes Mayan backstrap loom work, and the creative dialogue with Mayan artisans redefines the cultural value of this artisanal practice.

Denisse Kuri
Denisse Kuri, a textile designer and graduate of the Universidad Iberoamericana in Puebla, founded her brand in 2010 in collaboration with artisans from Chiapas, Guerrero, Puebla, Oaxaca, and Tlaxcala. Her work seeks to recognize craftsmanship as art and artisans as artists, promoting the cultural value of each piece.
Her brand is distinguished by its experimentation and the advancement of textile techniques, offering unique garments. Eleven years later, her dream has grown to include a workshop, a store, and a presence in various parts of Mexico, as well as exports to the U.S. and Europe.
